they keep calling my job.....AFTER receiving a fax from me stating to cease and desist ALL CALLS to my place of employment. Then when I return the call, they all of a sudden can not answer their phone. they transfer you to someone else and want you to repeat all of your information AGAIN. So now I'm calling them and only saying what's your fax number? they ask me my name I say you'll get my name when you give me your fax number.....of course the call all of a sudden gets disconnected

Micheal O. Called me saying that I owed money to a bank. When he proceeded to ask how I handled my finances and if thru another bank. I responded I do everything COD and he said "what's that?". I mean really everyone knows what COD means in the financial world.

I have been receiving calls from Sydney Cohen the last few weeks. I am an unemployed stay at home mom of 3. Just had my daughter in April. My husband has been laid off and just now started to go back to work. I feel helpless and threatened and honestly scared. I know I have debt. I have talked with this man before and asked if I could make payments and he said no!! It's Only a debt for $400. But I don't h e that Kind of money just laying around. He asked " so are you refusing to pay this debt?" I said " no, but I would need to make payments or wait till taxes". He said then I was refusing to pay it. I know everyone needs a job but do they really have to be so damn mean. My husband and I are looking into consolidating our bad credit into one monthly payment but I am getting so sick of the calls. I am not going to answer my phone and tell u the same damn thing I told you last week and the week before!!! I CANNOT PULL MONEY OUT OF MY [***]! I feel so helpless, harassed and exhausted. He left a message today saying if he dowsnt hear back from me in 48hts he will proceed. Wtf does that even mean? I've heard it before. I would love it NOT to happen but what else can I do? Can't pay in full can only make payments and you won't except that so.....

Just a FYI..if anyone owes money you can still ask for documentation of your bill, an agreed payment letter, and if you pay them money even if its $2, $5, $10 debt collectors HAVE to accept the payment .. this will show the courts you are making great efforts to pay them.. and please make sure you ask the payment in full letter that this is removed from your credit report..if they cant do any of these things then you can call BBB to report, not pay until they have correct and legitimate paperwork (then follow procedure), or you can sue them for harassment...

Okay, got the call from Mike O. at Weinerman ( love that name) he inflated the debt by double to over $1200 and change. I have monitored the credit bureau, the amount is half that. Has been for quite some time. I tried to pay the original debt to the original lender but because it has been sold, several times, I can't. Mike agreed to a settlement amount and a time frame. I have the money order in hand. Before I send it to them , has anybody, not you shills, had experience with them? will they live up to their end of the agreement? will they give me a satisfied letter? will they not 1099 me for the unsubstantuated debt? and why won't they report paid in full to the bureaus? they said that was my responsibility.I know these guys buy debt in bundles for pennies on the dollar and I feel like I am dealing with thugs. Any thoughts? Looking for answers real soon and please no vitriol
