dr juan...when people borrowed money they did act like an adult..they were working and able to pay there bills every month,then the banks screwed up the economy and people lost there jobs and they can only afford to pay there rent and lights now.now if the collectors acted like adults maybe some of the debtors could make arrangements of 20.00 a month,but you know they will never accept that so they LIE,they threaten people with arrest they overcharge them and they even steal from you.they call senors up who is on ssn and they say to them I'm going to freeze your ssn check and the law says no debt collection company and even a law firm can freeze an ssn check...they call debtors up and say there going to be arrested....you cannot be arrested fro a civil matter...these idiots use scare tactics and lie all the time and as far as I'm concern i wouldn't pay them a dime,i would call the original creditor and make payments with them i would never deal with a collection company.PEOPLE...be very careful when dealing with low life debt collectors do not give them your bank info...FFG was caught for overcharging and illegally taking moneys out of peoples bank account..if you feel you must pay these idiots...use money orders and make sure they validate the debt that you owe.demand full validation...WHEN YOU OPENED AND CLOSED THE ACCOUNTALL CHARGES AND PAYMENTS MADEHOW THE INTEREST WAS ACCRUED SO YOU CAN CHECK THE MATH,THEY ALWAYS MAKE MISTAKES IN THERE FAVOR.YOU WANT TO SEE THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT WITH YOUR SIGNATUREIF THEY DONT VALIDATE THEN THE DEBT IS INVALID.

A more recent update for everyone.Recently, Weinerman & Associates had a rather large group of filings in Hennepin County, to which the majority of their cases were dismissed with prejudice as they have no proof of debts. They are a predatory collection company that buys debt from intermediary parties in the hopes of making a quick buck by misrepresenting themselves, taking assumed names, threatening legal action before providing proof of anything, all in the hopes of intimidating people into paying them money.I am one of the people that had the case dismissed with prejudice, which bars them from attempting to collect any further without them winning an appeal in court. The person who represented them in court sounded a lot like this Bernie guy, but that definitely isn't his real name. He had the audacity to try and talk back to the judge. I'm rather surprised he didn't get found in contempt.The best thing you can do if they contact you is send them a letter asking them to validate the debt, because quite honestly they either can't or won't, which in the long run just ruins their attempts at making money. Show up in court with your documentation, and watch as the judge dismisses all of their filings with prejudice because all they can come up with is "our system has ties a social security number to the actual accounts", and no signed promissory note, no signed contract, nothing that is actually legal proof of the debt owed.

You must be a loser to write this and you must be a scumbag debtor.You make a bill you repay,not 20 a month,you work or borrow but you repay in a timely fashion and since you are too unintelligent,say did the credit card company let you only use 20.00 at a time so quit the loser attitude and do what is right,it doesnt matter about age or what the banks did,you borrowed money,repay it,plain and simple.You should learn to stop be criminal minded

These bill collectors get their money by collecting the money, not by the amount of time that they spend. Another winning strategy is to waste as much of their time as possible, while giving them no information to use against you. Ask them to repeat information. Don't let their negative emotions create bad feelings in yourself. Instead, when they are rude to you, ask them how they feel.The next time that they call on Shabbat, I'll ask them what their oma would say.

dr jaun....I LOVE IT dr jaun is upset...he doesn't like the idea that I'm giving you people ammunition to fight against them,,he doesn't want you to know that your ssn check can be garnish...he doesn't want you to know if they cant validate the debt then you don't have to pay...he doesn't want you to know that YOU CANNOT BE ARRESTED FOR CIVIL MATTER....PEOPLE...dr jaun is a low life debt collector who isn't making any monies,so he will call you and lie that he can have you arrested because he is desperate,the economy screwed you,,people lost there jobs and cant pay the rent he wants you to make payments so he can make his 15% commission.i do agree that you should try and pay your debt if your working but always pay the mortgage or rent,lights heat and phone and make sure you have food before even considering paying a low life lying debt collector,.and again don't use your personnel checks if you do then they have your bank name checking account and routing number that's when they will take your money from you,they don't care if you get evicted.dr jaun why don't you get a job in security you will make more money then a sleazy debt collector

The scariest thing of all is, all you people, listening to these people that are here on this website trying to "help" you on here. Are your serious??? It's the same people that call you on the phone every night!!!. They try to "trick" you into sending info "their" way... Oh yeah, send all your personal info our way,... "Hello !! McFly !!!... You must understand, any one person or "company" on this website, like they are trying to help you... THEY ARE NOT. It's just another one of their wicked ways to get your personal info. Do you not see that? "People" telling you to send to the company, all your personal info, so that you can sue them, with or without prejudice? Do NOT send ANYONE any personal info on yourself to anyone on here. !!! PLEASE... Just another way for this so called company to get your info. And trust me, any legit debts you have owing to this company, don't do it !! They will never take you off their "debt collection list" or the like on your credit report. Even if you get an e-mail from someone, giving you compassion, whatever, ANYONE on this website asking you for any info, or asking you to send your info to anyplace... ie: their lawyer, anyone else on this website, please do not be sooo stupid. BTW, Funny how "their" phone numbers have changed now. HAHAHHAHA LOL [***]. Send these fools NOTHING. Even if they were to put something on your credit report: challenge it. Big time. I keep getting phone calls on my cell phone for a Jeremy Biseline unknown person. When I ask that they remove my number because they keep calling my cell and I am not the person they are trying to reach the man says this is the first time he has called. They say they will update the information but after a few weeks I get the same nuisance calls. How can I stop this unwanted intrusion or file a complaint to stop these calls.

lol.. I just met "drew" a couple days ago... he acts as if he's some big shot business owner that has an amazing job working personally with banks. thats how he explained what he did... ohhhh this is all too funny...no wonder hes 40 yrs old single with no kids...

How on earth can you go against the grain of legality and morality and take a totally criminal stance about contractual liability.Have you totally lost touch with reality? When money is borrowed it has to be repaid and when its not,yes a debt collector will be calling to recover said debt.It is a legitimate profession that works to recover money to banks,and other entities. Yes they probably do commission,an incentive to work hard and find the funds,and why shouldnt they.It's probably a tough job.Dead beats hanging up,not answering the phone,cursing when they do pick it up and just in general dealing with trashy "people" that have criminal intent.If only the indebted would call their creditors and ask them to help them in their time of difficulty then everyone would prevail.But to take a criminal side of it and damn the collections industry is preposterous and I would ask you to do an about face and call it what it is.Fair is fair
