yes, I received the same call; and yes I also posted on Careerbuilder and yes in the job search mode. I knew it soundy fishy
I just got a call from 972-200-9825 .. surprisingly, they left a message saying that they have seen my resume and want to schedule an interview and to call another phone number (888-673-4109) .. Interestingly enough, they did not say what company they were calling from .. I did a search on that phone number and they have been doing the same to many other people. BTW, I, too, recently just posted my resume to CareerBuilder.com .. I seem to be getting more spam and junk mail since I put my resume up on CareerBuilder.com
I got the same call just a few minutes ago , what a joke if you are hiring someone you need to call them not some automated system I donot even live where they said that the job is . And I did not apply for the stupid position. I will not answer another call from them again 972-200-9825
On 6/9/11 I received a call from 972-200-9825. I didn't answer due to unfamiliar number. They left a message for me to call 1-888-673-4109 but left no business name. I looked the number up on google and found this site. I won't be calling them. Thanks everybody for taking the time to post this information! I just posted my resume on Monster.com yesterday 6/8/11. I am so glad that I thought to check google first!
Dang it!! I fell for it and I left them my name and number :( what a bunch of people with no lives!!!
I bet this has something to do with CareerBuilder. I posted my resume on there 2 days ago and I just got that call. I thought it was weird to have a machine calling like this with no company name saying that I am qualified for a job, then go on with the zip code and waited with no one picking up. I called the number back and the same thing. That's when I decided to go on Google and check it out. I guess it was the right move!!! Maybe I should rethink about posting my resume online on sites like Monsters or CareerBuilder...LinkedIn might just be a bit much safer after all!!!
I also got a call from this same number today at 6:23p. They left a voicemail and everything. I'm glad there are smart people out there who investigate before giving their info! I have never like careerbuilder.
I have been looking for a job online for the past month. Tonight I got a call from this number and the person on the other end of the line said I was someone they were looking at for a job they have. I waited for everything to go through and got connected to an answering machine. I gave them my phone number, which they had already. I hope this doesn't lead to any problems.
yeah same here i entered every zipcode i know of in the state of texas ad it said there are no branches in the area
Got this call today.. same recorded message as others about them receiving my resume. I just posted my resume online (at Monster.com) two nights ago. I don't think it's a coincidence. It makes me wonder if I should remove my resume from online to keep other scammers or telemarketers from getting my phone number. I will not be calling this number back.
