I gotten several robo-dialed phone calls the past few days, have not talked to a live person yet. The Fcc is going to love me this week I filed 24 scammer calls and just added this one to the list.
Just got done ordering something on Amazon.com from New Harbor (located in New Jersey) and within two minutes I got a call from 973-785-3000 to the [MagicJack] phone # stored on my Amazon account. No message was left by the caller.
This company "randomly" calls people to check and see if they have (or have not, if available in your area) received a phone book. I've been "randomly" selected every phone book season for the last few years. It may be because I don't want a dead tree doorstop that's obsolete the minute I get it. Regardless, they call at times when I cannot answer - I cannot hear my home phone ring when I am at work.They're harmless and annoying, but that's about it. No scams or funny business here - just ignore them for a week or so and they'll stop calling you like a jilted lover.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
