This number has been calling 2-3 times a day the last few days so I finally googled to see who the heck it is. We don't even have a land line and absolutely zero need for a phone book. I'll continue to decline the calls.Anyone know where you can report a # for an annoying amount of calls? I mean its not harrassment and its not at odd hours of the night, but it's sure as [***] annoying!
not home to answer, no message, blocked them. We live in a rural area and their idea of delivering phone books is to toss a pile of them on the ground on the side of the road near the mailboxes. Last time I checked tossing stuff on the ground along the road was littering. No one ever picks them up until the bags are all shredded and the books are soggy from the rain. Reporting them to the sheriff.
My phone number is not listed in the phone book. I am on the do no call list. Yet, I continue to get calls every day from strange numbers. This is getting old.
First time I've ever gotten a call from Certified Audit. I did not answer, caller left no message. If it's about phone books, they were left in driveways about a month ago, in a rain storm, so they went straight into the bin.
I received a call at 1:36 AM from this number. I had forgotten about it until I checked voicemail. The schpeel was very similar to what I've read here - a telephone book / yellow pages. In this area it's called "Dex" and that's the name the message used. I tried to call the number back this morning and received a message 'if you know your party's extension, please dial it now" followed by 'for the operator press 120". Of course an automated voice (same as the message - a young woman) said "You've reached the operator. I am away fom my desk. Thank you for calling" CLICK.Sometimes I can't help but think if these people used their powers for good and not evil, they may actually ACCOMPLISH something in their life. But to call at 1:36 in the middle of the night???
