try getting divorced from a compulsive spender that knows all your credit card numbers and runs them all to the max. then get a decree that states that the debt is hers...(although the cards were in my name) .then she files bankruptcy. the credit card companies swarm on you to pay for every card...that the decree said was not your debt. Wrong..it is your debt ... they do not honor divorce decrees! heads up everyone. do not agree to a decree that states that your credit cards will be paid by someone else... the law is not in your favor... try paying $50,000.00 on debt the judge said was not your to pay. That is after loosing the house, my life's savings in her annuity (I paid the bills while she placed 16,000. a year in an annuity in her name for the tune of $123,000.dollars. Another mistake folks.. Rather get a settlement, negotiate the sale of the house, or payment from the other spouse through a Qualified domestic order. if possible. be on guard

call recieved asking for a person who, i know this person but was never notified that calls would be made to my home phone number and do not wish for these calls, please stop immediately. caller would not give any info other than it was a personal business matter between this person, please remove my phone number from your list.

i just started getting the calls. don't know what they are about. don't have any credit cards. i think someone gave them a phony # and it happens to be mine. FYI, I use verizon wireless, and you can put up to 5 # on your "spam" list for FREE. They can't get through. I know they can call from different numbers, but when a new number comes up I switch it around. on my cell plan it last for about 3 months, then you have start over again. i don't know what it would be if you bought their spam controls package.

This morning I received a call from 978-686-2255. After reading the people's review, I know it is a harassing call. Just want to remind other people do not answer this number and try to file complaint for harassment.

They sued me too. My circumstances are exactly like yours. I settled with everyone, but they refused, wanted it all now. After more than a year my case has been disposed. They are all talk, but when they get to court they come apart. I got a summary judgment but they filed for a new trial on day 29. We went to trial and the judge disposed the case in my favor. If they would have been nicer on the phone instead of nasty and evil sounding, I would have settled. They Pi$$ed me off so much I just denied everything and they could not prove their case because they were sooo unprepared for court.

Yes they have to go to court to do that . No one I mean no one but the court can allow someone to put a lien or uphold your checking acct or even your pay check. It's 25% they can garnish up to. If you don't get a court date it's BS. I know I went through with it. If you get a date go to court the collectors most likely won't show up because they don't have all the paper work "contract" from your orrinal loan anyway. Judge throws out. Even if they show up go it all works out
