Said he was from Windows Tech Support, and asked to log onto my laptop. I told him I didn't have a laptop and he called me a liar, then he hung up. :)
These guys don't give up, nobody is falling for their third world [***] yet they persist in their scam. Called my cell, same number, didn't recognize area code as valid, didn't answer. Use your intuition, if it seems like [***], then it probably is.
Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Didn't answered and they left no message. Will now block the number after reading these comments. I have had these types of calls before at work and they are skeezy scammers. I have played along with them before and it's kind of amusing. One time they "walked" me through "fixing" the problem where I pretended I was doing what he told me. It was clear they were trying to get me to make my computer accessible to them.
They called me, i did not answer, but I did research and they are some sort of hacker group
Received a call from this exact number today. No message left on voicemail. I don't answer strange numbers ever, especially during election years. If it's important enough, they'll leave a message. But, from all the prior inputs....they're scammers. Good thing I didn't answer.

Multiple texts from different numbers. Follows the same format, different names and
Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
scam debt collector calling, asks to call a diff number, ignore
