Just received a call from this number. Thick Indian accent and the man states he is calling from Windows Support and my computer is going to crash at any moment so he needs to help fix it. I stated "you are full of bologna, I am hanging up now!" First and only call from this number. What a waste of someone's skill and life to sit at a call center and scam people.

Another unwanted call arrived from this spoofed number, just 9 days after the previous call on May 27. The caller left no message on voice mail. Many previous posters have identified the caller as a scam Microsoft technician pushing a fraudulent scheme to induce people to download malware onto their computers.Folks, these people have no useful services to offer. They specialize in wallttechtomy - the surgical removal of the wallet. They're not getting mine and shouldn't get yours, either.DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER

I received these calls nearly daily. It is a Windows technician telling me about getting error messages. I answered the first couple of times and told them that I could not have trouble with Windows as I have a "mac" - which is not true, but then they are lying to me. They assured me that I was using Windows and had major problems. I assured them that they were full of baloney. They still call and I no longer answer. The person that called is "Austin" - sure.

This number with "Name Unavailable" was on my missed call list. I basically just shut my phone off, then return calls whose numbers are in my phone. I came here to see who it might be. Another scam. My block list is over a dozen of these type of numbers. It doesn't really work because they just initiate another fake number to show up in caller ID. I am most sure, after reading above, it is scam, particularly since I have Ubuntu/Linux.

Got a phone call on my cell from these guys. The person spoke in a very broken almost unintelligible accent that sounded like it came from India or some other country in that region, telling me that he was calling from Windows service and I had some kind of illegal downloading on my computer. I asked him where my computer is. he didn't know. Then I asked him what my name was and he said "mother f-----r" and I told him that's not my name and he insisted that it was. After that he hung up. Vey funny. I didn't know anyone could be that stupid. When I kicked on the redial the number was not working. Guess this the same guy who's been calling all of the other people on this chat line. 6/15/15 Insisted I have a problem with my computer and they just need access to it to fix it. Yeah! Right! Another one of the many scammers trying the "My name is xxx, and I'm with Microsoft and your computer is sending out spam". Funny thing, none of them have an inkling of what an IP address is.

they call very day. I don't answer unknown calls, they hang up without leaving a message. Very annoying.

They called my cell I usually have it off an Indian said I had a problem with my computer I told him oh yeah I don't have a computer so how can I have a problem he hung up I get them on my land line I never answer unknown numbers
