I just received a call, I let him know right up that I know his call is a scam, he then called me a scam and hung up on me

Thick middle eastern accent, said I had downloaded polymorphic material and there was now a virus on my computer, he was from Windows and was going to help me fix my computer. I said why didn't MS contact me via email and I hung up.I gotta remember not to answer my phone on unknown numbers.

Today a call arrived from this spoofed number which, according to www.411. com is invalid. The caller left no message on voice mail. Many previous posters have identified the caller as a scam Microsoft technician pushing a fraudulent scheme to induce people to download malware onto their computers. Folks, these people have no useful services to offer. They specialize in wallttechtomy - the surgical removal of the wallet. They're not getting mine and shouldn't get yours, either.DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER

A male with an Indian accent told me my computer had downloaded some unauthorized files.He asked something (forget what) and said "ok?"I said "no" and hung up.Then I went to look up the phone number and was unable to open a new page in firefox with command N as I always do. Hmmm... Guess I'll be restarting, not that I think they really did anything.Best not to answer calls you don't recognize. This one could be trouble.

I got the call. They claimed to be from windows tech support and asked me how I was. I responded, somewhat exasperatedly, that I was good. The man calling proceeded to tell me my voice was wonderful and, though he wasn't perfectly intelligible, I believe he offered to have sexual intercourse with me. It's like they're not even committed to scamming.

They called me and told me that my computer downloaded a "polymorphis" and he was going to walk me through on how to delete it. He had an Indian accent and kept dodging my questions and cutting me off from talking and when I asked him to take me off their call list he said no and that'd he call me again and hung up.
