Received a call from 996-903-2154 said he was from windows and needed to talk to me about it. I said where did you get my ph number. He said windows program when I got it. I said no I did not give them my phone number. He hungup. He had an accent from China or India. Not sure.

Said it was from Windows & my computer had downloaded files that would crash my computer. Told them I don't think so & hung up. Scam!!!

Received call from (996)903-2154 from someone with a heavy accent saying they were technical support. They mentioned microsoft and asked if I had heard about the hacking. They wanted me to turn on my computer and they would tell me how to fix. Told him my computer tech would do that and hung up.I googled phone number and thank goodness found that this was a scam.

These guys, or somebody like them, call about twice a month. I'm a retired technology teacher so I play along for awhile just for fun. I ask them which computer they are talking about as I say I have several. I answer all their questions for a couple of minutes, but in such a way they think I'm asking for their help. Then say something about my computer having a little apple (Macintosh) in the corner. If they mention a keyboard I tell they I don't have a keyboard for my tablet. I can usually get them to waste about 5 minutes before they hang up on me. I also usually ask for their name and it's so funny to here someone with such a heavy accent to tell you something like "My name is 'John Clark'" or some other whiter than white name.

They called and said they were from windows and were going to help me fix my computer. I couldn't understand most of what else he was saying sounded like he was from China. No disrespect to China. Told him I don't do those type of things over a phone and hung up on him.

Guy sounded like a heavy handedCopy of Apu on the Simpsons. Said his name was Eric.This is a total scam call probably from Taliban (it's from that part of the world).DETAILS ARE IN OTHER COMMENTS

Said I had a problem with my computer. I just told them to speak clearly because I was recording and giving to police. They hung up

This guy tried getting access to my computer, and when I asked him more questions, he told me to F off and hung up!

'You're compooter is sending a error message via inturnut." These guys are either stoned out of their gourd or too stupid to even talk. It took me 2 mins to get him to stop the hello-hello back and forth. How dumb do you have to be to fall for retards like this?
