No message, and when I tried t return the call, it was reported by Verizon as a non-working #

They just called(with thick accent). I asked them how they got my number. They said "Windows Support" I said how did they get my number. Then they hung up.

I got the call from they but I could not hear what they say, but when I heard that I said Yes! I can hear you now. they started talking about my computer so I knew there was something weird so I hung up. will i be obliged to pay them now when I said yes, I can hear you, or it will pull from my card now. I'm so nervous and scared

They called me today 5/5/2015 posing as windows technicians saying my computer was broadcasting some (couldn't understand his thick accent) signals due to file I downloaded. I told him Im looking and what being broadcasted via zenmap right now and nothing is showing up suspect. I also told him if he wants to help me he needs to find someone I can understand to talk to. He went and :got his supervisor" who did not speak any clearer. he repeated what the former person said said the files could not be detected via anti virus. I informed him that zenmap is not an antivirus program it is used by network administrators like me to see what computer has been talking to who and so forth. I asked him if he knew anything about network administration and they hung up

Definitely a scam.

Called my cell then waited a sec and a computerized voice said "goodbye." I blocked it. But I am enjoyng the windows answers people have given!

I received a similar phone call. They identified themselves as "Eric" from the "Windows - Support and Service Department." I knew it was a scam but I kept them on the phone so that I may report it....told them I was a slow typer and asked again for their information....and the codes they asked me to input. They told me to input: eventvwr....then asked what I saw. I told them again I was slow...then asked for his contact number. The response was hysterical...he asked, "Has someone talked to you?!!!...You B#$%#, You Mother#$%^$#...then hung up.

do not call again.

My husband and I each got a call simultaneously from the same #. I rejected the call, my husband just ignored it

Tuesday May 19 at 2:22 my phone rang, I answered, and no one said anything. I hung up and tried to retrieve who the number belonged to. This is the response I received. These pests need to be arrested, fined and put in prison. America has lost all of our freedom and these people have made it impossible for us to be at peace and rest in our own homes.
