We just received a call from this number. He sounded like he was from India. (No disrespect here). Spoke very broken english and said he wanted to talk to my husband. He referred to him by name. I asked what it was in regard to. He said, "I am calling about your windows...you know, computer". (all said in broken english).I said to him, "How can I help you"? And he hung up on me.When I researched the phone number. It stated that this area code is not valid.996-903-2154.No doubt a hoax. Do NOT give these guys any information!!!Idiots need to get a REAL job!

Had the 996 area code call saying same crap about my computer. Don't have a computer or laptop. Only game system. I hung up on them. It's a scam!!. Don't answer them.

As soon as they mention "Windows" I tell them that our gardener just washed ours. When they say it's computer related I tell them I don't have "Windows" (and I don't) and that I use the best computer on the market which is not very susceptible to Internet Intrusions. Then they hang up on me!

Hi I got a call from the same number 996-903-2154.When they realized I am Indian and know they are fake they started saying abusing work to me.I just hung up.

Area code is in Kyrgyzstan, DO NOT ANSWER!!

Is there any way we can put up the complain somewhere.

I received a call from them claiming to be Windows and that we had downloaded something onto our computer. I told them I didn't have a working computer (which is true) and I heard them say "hang up, hang up" before hanging up myself.

Received this call at 12:47 PM from an area code I didn't recognize and "unavailable". Number wa 996-903-2154.

Did not answer call. But have had mid eastern indian tell me my computer had a virsus. Wanting to unlock . All you have to do is go to control panel and set a new backup date about one week before and it will remove the lock.
