I've had those calls twice (the second one was from1-999-910-0223). The phone connection was horriible both times and I had real difficulty understanding the caller.The first time the caller introduced himself as calling on behalf of Microsoft. I decided to play along with him and, even though I told him Microsoft doesn't call people, he persisted, rambling on about some malware infecting my computer. Finally, I told him it was a scam and I was taping the call, so he hung up.The second caller introcuced himself as Keven and said he was calling on behalf of Windows or was contracted to Windows. I suggested that Windows is a Microsft productm but, like the first caller, he persisted. Finally, I told him I was taping the call, hit a button on my phone and said: Operator, this is the call I wanted traced.He responded with something like I couldn't trace the call, he was cancelling my Windows licence and hung up.

I have gotten mutiple hang up calls from this number and then I got a call, told him to take me off the list and he said No, no, no. I am going to talk to you. F you, f you, f you...using the entire wordHe was extremely angry.

999-910-0122 called and hung up without saying who they were. filed complaint with www.donotcall.gov

They have called me numerous times and I finally answered and after he gave his talk I said interesting since I have a Mac and he said you have a Mac and I said yes and he hung up on me.

Ive had five calls from 999 910 0122 today, two while I was at work and they left no message, two were just dead air and then a "Good Bye" the last I finally had the pleasure of talking to Suzanne, a very strange name for such a strong Indian accent. When I told her I don't have a computer she just hung up, I was rather upset as I was ready to bore her to tears. Hoping they call back soon as there is nothing on TV

Called here several times today and when I searched the number I found this. If their Microsoft, then I'm a White House rep.

Call from Indian man claiming to be from Microsoft calling to get me to fix my computer before it crashes. He told me to go to my PC and on the keyboard press the Control key, and was going to continue with instructions. I told him I prefer to get my updates directly from Microsoft online or to look them up online. I asked what company he was calling from and he said Event River. And started to spell it-- RiWer. When I told him I'd like to write the number down and call back. He said-- well then just let your computer crash and hung up.

Had almost exactly the same experience as "Elk." I cut to the chase and asked them if they wanted to sell me something and they admitted that yes, they were going to "solve" my computer problems. I told them I was going to buy a new computer, so no worries, and she responded "we didn't know that!" Well, no, how would you? unless you really are monitoring my computer and have seen me searching for new laptops. Since then, several calls in which there's simply a computer voice saying "goodbye." Have also reported them to the Do Not Call registry; thanks, "No," for that idea.

There is tons of information on this scam if you Google for Live PC Solutions scam or LogMeIn123 scam. They have you bring up Windows Event Viewer (eventvwr) and ask how many errors and warnings you see. These are NOT indications of viruses and most PC's will have numerous of those events. They prey on the computer illiterate by stating that this is an indication that your PC is infected and will crash soon. They then direct you to type in www.logmein123.com which will bring you to a valid website used for remote controlling a PC - similar to how GoToMyPC works. That site in itself is fine but they want you to enter a pin number which then gives them complete access to your PC. They then install a virus and will charge you money to remove it. They are not fixing anything other than the damage that they themselves create if you allow them access.It would be great if you could easily report this to LogMeIn123 but I haven't found how to do that yet. If we could keep getting their PIN's disabled it would help prevent this problem and cost them money.
