I have waited through the call and at the end pressed the number to be removed from their list but the calls keep coming.

Someone with a very heavy mid East accent was trying to sell car insurance(I think).

As soon as they called, they said they were a data collection agency of some sort and asked me for my date of birth. I hung up.

This person sent me a text wanting to know who i was. Said they found my number

I called back and talked to a guy with thick Indian accent who claimed to be from Social Security and told him this number has been forward to the Social Security fraud division. He hung up right away.

This caller left a message that if I did not press N.E. to connect with an operator, my”social benefits” will be permanently twrmunated. Obvious scam

This company has been calling me more than once per day for perhaps a week (based on when I'm at home and can screen calls with CallerID).
