hey! it's abt 5pm and i wasn't by my phone but a number called telling me that the national directory has changed.. the number it left was 888-532-5541 and refered me to 10-15-15-8000 and said for a charge of 4.95 i would be redirected... at the end of the call it gives 702-555-1212.. What the hell!!!Now i am gonna pay attention to my bill to see if it's on there for the next few months. i am going to ask to have this number blocked

EVIE -- I have also had $10.95 debited from my checking account for the past 3 months (Nov. Dec. & Jan.) I let the first one go thinking I may have made a purchase somewhere, the second one in Dec. I was too busy to notice or do anything about) and now I am beginning to wonder what's going on so began looking into it and found this site. My statement shows UMG Dentpr and part of a phone # 800-671-20 so can't call. I hope I don't have to go thru all the trouble you had to - closing your account etc. Did your bank find anything out? I can't imagine how this is all happening? I hope my bank will help me. I will call them in the am. Thanks for the info. Hope this person or people get caught!

I also received at least three calls from their 800 number which caller ID said was unavailable......asking me to call them right away.I never called back and then I received a post card in the mail!! Asking me to call them back about my membership - (24 hr Fitness) I called the number that was on the card and was re-directed to the 10-15-15-8000 number and advised it would be a fee of 'i thought $15 something' not totally sure about the figure. Needless to say I didn't continue. Question is - how did they get my phone number which is unlisted AND my Mailing Address which is not my home address???

You are right it is a scam!!the state of Florida, Wisconsin and other states have suited Plus the Federal Trade Com. The company doing this I think is ILD Teleservices over 2,000,000 charges like this. I think the best think to do is call your local phone company and tell them to Block 3th part billing. There will be a suit for At&T next to stop this

I continually get calls identified on my caller ID as "800 SERVICE" The number 264-5059 shows up also . No messages are ever left. Tonight I called back - 800 264 5059 - and was told to dial 10 15 15 8000. I did not do so but did a web search instead to see what came up. I see I am very much not alone.

I did not get the call--10:00 p.m. 5 weeks ago was listed--just the charge for $7.14 on my Verizon bill. Looking at this web site and one more, I see Verizon mentioned more than once. And these are all related to the above number. Why does Verizon continue to list these charges? They must know its a scam.

Went to the bank to ID the $10.95 ACH charge from UMG DENTPR (800) 671-20.The unknown charge has been occuring monthly since Oct 2009. Bank gave us a Credit Card Services ph # 1-800-653-6433 which I immediately called. The unsolicited charges were from Protective Dental. The Credit Card Services agent cancelled any future charges to our checking account, and the bank gave us a form to dispute back charges up to 60 days.Neither my wife nor I ever signed up for any dental services, much less a monthly $10.95 charge from our checking account.

Calling 10 should be shut down. I was billed USD 7.14 without EVER dialing an outgoing number. This was simply put on my bill because I do not have an unlisted number (not that these parasites wouldn't just bill randomly or sequentially). Everyone will be billed by Calling 10 at some point. Most will think it's a mistake. Nope--that's just their business model.I have a land line for incoming calls at home. No one ever dials more nor less than seven digits for an outgoing local call (long distance and inter-exchange calls are blocked) from the phone that was billed by the Calling 10 scum. No one is invited to use this telephone in preference of the print directory--SITTING NEXT TO THE PHONE--to dial directory assistance. I still got a bill for 10-10-15-800.I got a refund from the biller, BTW. I'm still p.o.'ed because I work as an advocate for ratepayers in California. These scumbags will bill anyone that's not looking. Check your phone bills!

I just paid my monthly phone bull, but I NEVER valled this number....PLEASE CEWDIT MY BULL- (609)695=1251.... My Dad, who worked for ATT & verixon & MCI, just investigated this !!!!IT IS A SPAM !!!!
