I got a total charge of 7.14 for ILD teleservice. The co. claims Dir Assist to the same number you had. I called 1-800-433-4518 (which was on the bill to call for questions.) Someone by the name Ryan ? promised to give me refund. I will just pay my bill less this scam amount and wait what AT&T will do.

I have been getting charged 34.99 a month from this UMG DENTPR...no idea what the charge is for. Tried calling the non existant number and want the charge to stop. I can't afford the 34.99 a month for something that i don't even know what it is.

They are not only scamming, they are slamming! I called the 800 number for my software support company (BIG, BIG company that supports electronic medical records and billing). Somehow, my call was diverted and I received a message saying "The number you called has been changed. Please call 10-15-15-8000". Well, knowing my support company had recently merged with another company, it made sense they might have a new number. So I called 10-15-15-8000. As soon as the recording identified this number as directory assistance I hung up, but not before incurring a charge of $7.66. How can this kind of thing go on? Why haven't they been shut down? This is such a dishonest way of making money! Needless to say, when I called my software support people back and got through on the original # I had dialed, they were livid. Now I am in the process of trying to reach billing for 10-15-15-8000. Will also file complaints with the FTC and FCC. All of which takes up so much time...and they are counting on all of us to give up and pay the little charge.

i recieved a phone call at my moms # she called me and delivered the message that a national finance company had called her. We just switched phone companys (was with at&t) so my new # is not listed. Anyways i called the 800 # and it gave me this 1015158000 crap and a website www.callingten.com I looked the website up because the # looked fishy. It said it was a phone directory service and to use it instead of the information # I always use. I don't think so. After reading these posts i reported them to the police department who gave me another # to call for fraud. I do have a police report in case anything funny pops up!!! Thanks people for posting!!!

Just curious, did you ever get a check from them?

I tried calling 1-800-432-9477 to reach "Richardson Transportation". A recording directed me to call "ten - fifteen - fifteen - eight thousand". Writing it down as 101-515-8000, I was curious about where area code 101 is, since this is supposed to be a company that transports cars via rail, and I'm in southern california. Google led me here (yay!) and I avoided calling the scam-bugs...

said I had a unpaid debt and to call them asap, I googled this numer and they are bunk!!!!!!!!!!!! don't call that number

how do the phone companies allow this. The phone company must get hundreds of calls like this why do they allow it, do they get cut of the profits.
