I had a charge out of my checking account as well and I too have combined policys.I delclined their offers for this service I am so angry that they said I authorized but trhey did correct it we will see.
been getting calls coming in as "unknown" on caller id. They want the person who handles the phone account for my phone service. They want to change my long Distance service saying they are my carrier. Here is the funny part. When I called my phone carrier Customer Service #,-- recording said get a pen write this number as it has changed "please dial 1015158000" I really think the phone carrier and this company are in on everything even though phone company denies it. When they called today, I just said NO, she then repeated herself and I said "N" "O". About a month ago, I had a charge on my phone for 10.07. My carrier said they couldn't remove it. I did call the company and got a very irate gentleman on the phone. He kept trying to explain to me that I had authorized this service on my phone bill which can be used as a credit card. He said maybe my husband used it to charge porn. I asked to speak with his supervisor. This person was much nicer and said he couldn't remove the charge to pay it and I would be mailed a refund. Holding my breath, I did get a refund for $10.97. I also made sure that I wasn't signing up for anything else when I endorsed the check.
---Like my name says and this is my home phone. Same number I had when I signed up for the NDNCR. The phone number they called me from is registered as HP @ 800-545-2305 and online even shows as being a Hewlett Packard R&D Industries, @ 1824 130th Avenue NE, Suite 2, Bellevue, WA 98005That's @ 1-800-545-2305 (so web crawlers can find their number)as well as @ 1-101-515-8000 (again for web crawlers)---The NDNCR is a joke. They haven't responded to claims about companies that call registered civilians and they haven't done anything to prevent calls originally. It is my firm belief that all they did was stick their greedy fingers in the pot by selling software that randomly selects phone numbers. This is the #1 excuse when you tell a telemarketer to STFU and stop calling. If randomly selected by computation, no one can physically* call you and violate the law.
Who ever this is keeps calling telling me to call them at 1-888-988-9559 and give a reference number.
My Centurylink phone bill got charges from ILD Teleservices Inc. This was after I had gotten a call from someone from Yellow Pages calling to 'verify' my address and phone number. I contacted my telephone company, Centurylink, about the charges, and they said they are not responsible for 3rd party billing. I asked for them to put a block all 3rd party billing. They said it usually blocks all, but may not block some -- whatever that means.I called ILD Teleservices, who said they are just a billing company for a company called "Local Biz USA". I called Local Biz USA and I demanded a refund of the unauthorized charges. I received a refund from a company called "Calling 10". What's up with so many different entities involved!?! Seems like quite a scam going on. I think maybe IRS ought to check this out.
Whom ever this is that is calling keeps calling from 1-888-988-9559 tells me to call back with a reference number. And if I don't call they willl be forced to take action. Who this is I don't know.
Hello; Ellie43 for the past three months this scamming OAN has been billing me 14.95 cents. I have no idea who they are or how they were able to put this on my verzion phonebill. I had those scam artist blocked by the phone company . Please ask your phone company to block all third parties. Good luck to you and your husband.
Just received a call from 1-800-749-2047. When I called the "800" number was told that it was changed to 1015158000 and a fee would be charged. Strange. It is a scam for sure. With tough times like these, people are trying all sorts of things to make a buck...including ripping people off.
I did not GET a call from this number, but was directed to do so when I dilaled the activation number stuck on my newly issued VISA debit card from my bank. A charge reference was quickly uttered at the message's beginning and then repeated alternatives, included Nevada Directory Assistance. Searching www. calling10 (not "ten").com got me here. Funny, I got a new card because I've been fraudulently charged on my old one. Is there no end?
