Caller identified himself as calling from "The Federal Government Grants Department" and that I had free grant money in my name. Of course he had a heavy accent. Every american knows better than to falsely claim themselves as Uncle Sam. Anyway when he said "I bet your wondering why you get this free money?" I said "No I don't because I'm not interested." Do you know he paused and then mocked my very said words like a little pissed off kid and hung up. I laughed.

I just received their call. I told him it sounded funny.he said he wouldn't talk to me if I didn't believe him.I only stated the funny part is I was ineligible for grantsbecause I'm Caucasian. haha He stated I would be audited by the IRS.I said good we need to work out my taxes. He stated he was from the FBI and CIA.I am supposed to cooperate or wait to be arrested. I told him Texans don't arrest easily and I would waitfor him. He hasn't brought me my money yet.

You're all fools!! I just got my $9000! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhaha. Just joking. Got the phone call, heavy accent, heard his spiel. I told him, I thought it was a scam and I wasn't interested, then he just continued to read his prompt. I kept trying to talk to tell him I wasn't interested, but he just kept talking over me, so I just hung up. I tried to be polite! :O

Yep, got the call from these guys. Same accent and 9000 dollar scam. I hope someone does look into this.

I got a call from this number..... I didn't answer. I'm glad I ignored it now that I know it's a scam.

Please stop calling me.

Walked in door from work 25 minutes ago to find my sometimes believing husband had been on phone with some idiot from this # (and 202-738-1861 earlier in day once he explained it all to me). They almost had him buying because he was a law abiding citizen with no arrests he gets a 9k grant & just needed his bank or cc info. for him to get it...talk about walking in door at nick of time!??! He assured me the caller ID said Washington DC & he made him repeat himself over & over he's from US Treasury Department....yeah, calling him AFTER 5:00 pm...god I hate having to keep pointing out these scams but thankful so many do (I do faithfully) to help protect others. Pisses me off as he's a bright man, just trusting damn it & nobody can be anymore! They are calling him back m certain...when they think crazy wife isn't around...ba ha ha ha. I will snap their foreign mouth through the phone if I see call!

Just got one from this today sent straight my my voice mail.

received call from 202 210-0054 They did not speak and was busy when I called back twice. I read that this phone number is related to scams. Just reporting it - hope this helps
