Received this call on my cell phone. After a short pause the caller (speaking with a foreign accent) said she was with the Federal government. I immediately said we are on the DNC registry and QUIT CALLING ME!!!
Got a call from 202-210-0054 today, 4/15 @2:45pm CT, (2nd time) there were clicking noises and beeping - then hang-up.
Received the same call. I told him I had not heard of Government giving out Grants to Loyal Citizens and then he Hung up.
After giving you the "good" news they ask for your credit card or bank account... figure what is next
I received a call indicating the IRS has $9,000 for me that I had not claimed. The caller claimed they had been looking for me to give me this money. I'd rather not say what I told the caller. Nevertheless, I figured it was a scam because the FEDS know how to find you. They won't call you. They will maill correspondence or show up at your door!
received a call on my cell phone from 202-210-0054 saying I got a grant for 9000.00. Jack Smith was his name - he did not speak good english.
Foreign guy called yelling "I am from the United States and I could not understand what he was trying to say but he was yelling at me and I hung up/
I just received a call from this number, same $9,000 federal grant scheme. I asked what department they were with and he stumbled over his words. He told me to go get a Walmart card and give it to him. I thought about getting a reloadable card with a penny on it and giving them that card number just for shiggles. I seriously hope no one actually believes they are getting a "loyal citizen grant" lol. They must not realize the "U.S. Government is broke... perhaps they should target a different country whose citizens may believe that load of hogwash.
Got a call from this number today. Identified themselves (after the traditional Robo-dialer pause) as someone from the U.S. Government. My response (which was 100% true): "You are calling a commercial truck driver who is trying to sleep. You are interrupting my sleeping time, this had better be darned important". (I used a similar word to darned, trying to keep things clean) I think his response was "**** off" and he hung up. If it really *was* a government employee, they would had probably apologized and asked when a good time to call was.
