Scam!! Scam!! Beware!! There was a short pause before the caller spoke up. The caller spoke with a thick accent (probably Indian), and from what I could make out, it was a scam saying I would get 9 thousand dollars from the US Government for having good credit. At the end of her pitch, I tried to ask her a question about her company, the caller disconnected.

Thick accent stating the were giving US grant money and was entitled to receive $9000. When I asked what company they were with and advise no money is given away without strings attached, they hung up on me.

I got the same call just now. Caller ID showed Washington D.C. I was sitting at the computer so I googled the number at its registered to a Mexican telemarketing company of some sort.So the guy is saying how I've been selected to receive this $9k grant from the government. So I say "ok great so all you need is my address and you will send me a check?" He just hangs up on me. I tried calling them back to harass them more but they dont answer.Lol.. Internet ruins scam callers FTW !

Just received call as the same as others. I replied that he was calling a Navy Chief and to remove my number from their calling list. He replied " do you know who I am" in a threating tone. I replied back " Do you know who you are calling". He hung up. Looking at who all I can report this call to.

I received a call today March 22, 2013, from 202-210-0054 and a woman with a heavy accent told me that The US Government was giving me $9.000.00 because I paid my bills on time and never went bankrupt, LOL. I recently had been out of work for 2 years, didnt pay my bills and went bankrupt. Anyway, I just laughed and said are you kidding me, is this a joke, and she hung up on me.
