Just received the same call from a woman. I hung up after we got to the account number portion. I told her to hold on while I looked it up... kept her on the phone for 5 minutes while i searched the number which brought me to this site. Glad I did... However I would have never given her my information anyway. Save some time and just don't answer to this number.

The same story as everyone else. I work midnight shift and got a call from this number on my work issued cell phone waking me up. Man with a very thick Indian accent advising something about a $9,000.00 grant from the U.S. Government. Despite being mostly asleep I immediately realized it was a scam. I told him "This is my lucky day!!!" and then hung up. If I wasn't so tired and wanting to go back to sleep I would have led him on. I can't help wondering how many people actually fall for this scam?

Got a call from this number 1045 CST 3/23/2013. Said I had to pay $9,000. Just hung up. After reading the other scam reports these people are changing very little in their call. I wonder why they all seem to involve $9,000.?

Received a call could not understand a word lots of noice in back ground I said hello several times and ask them to repeat themselves and they hung up.

Scam call from 202-210-0054 grant scam-why can this number still be allowed to operate when so many people have complained? We have no protection from these scammers from the FCC or the phone companies because no one will do anything about them to stop them!

I just recieved a call from 202-210-0054. Didn't get to my phone quick enough to see who was calling. They actually called twice back to back. I never answer numbers I don't know anyway and then look them up. So, I've decided when they call back since I've saved the number I'll tell them I too work in the grant department and give them my phone number to call me back which will be the number to the local sheriff department.

Received a call from Marshall with the Government Grants Department who wanted me to give him my banking information or any of my credit cards information so the Government could deposit $9000 free grant money that I could use any way I wanted as long as it wasn't for gambling or drugs and it would not have to be paid back.

Caller said that I had $9000 waiting for school grants to be claimed. I challenged her on her knowledge of the educational grants and she hung up.

I thought that she sounded pretty hot so I asked her did she want to go to Vegas with me and blow the money and then they hung up I get a kick out of getting these phone calls

I got a call from a woman saying something about $9000 waiting to be claimed that I didn't have to pay back. Once I heard that, I hung up.
