My mom just got that call but didn't answer on time and then out of no where I see my phone light up with a missed call. I asked her for what number showed up thinking maybe it was family and it was the (205) 453-1648 from Birmingham, AL. They didn't leave a message in either phone.
Ummm. There are laws Fair Debt Collection Prectices Act. Thruth in Caller ID act of 2011.It's up to you to get a lawyer and sue them. There is not a police department for harassing calls.Oh and posting like this on the internet does nothing. Want justice? go get it. Its yours for the taking.
You guys need to mail them a cease and desist letter telling them to never contact you again, certified mail return receipt. Keep the card, when it comes back, with a copy of the letter you sent and carefully document their harassment after you get the card back. Then sue them.
HOW ABOUT PAYING YOUR BILLS? THEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT COLLECTION CALLS. JUST SAYIN....

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Automated voice requested a call back from a person not at this number.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
