Just got a call. The caller IDed herself as "Tiffany." Refused to give any additional information, so I pretended to not be who she was looking for. She also called my cell number that's not in my name. No clue as to how they got the number.

I recieve 7-10 calls a day from this company and thye never leave a message.When I answered they hung up on me. The one time that I spoke to a rep I told them that I will not deal with them that I will only deal with the company I owe the debt to. They insist that they are now in control of the account. I have told them to quit calling me and harrassing me or I will report them and to no avail.

Do not know anybody in alabama, also I have no outstanding loans.

Just called on a debt that is 11 years old from Capital One account that I never had. Also have received mailings from this company

have told them to quit calling if they need to get in touch write me a letter.

Got a call from this number today on my cell phone. I don't answer calls from unrecognized numbers, since I'm the one who pays for my minutes, not the damn callers. Came here and now I see I was wise to ignore them. I don't owe anybody anything.I would block their number, but it seems they can fake that or just call from another line. Google Voice has a service (I think; I should check it out more fully) where the caller has to say who they are before they're connected to you. You get a notice or call from Google Voice telling you who is calling and you can either accept or reject the call. I'm sorry I didn't check that out more thoroughly before writing, but I'm going to do that now.

I'm sick of it

Actually in Ca. Breach of a written contract: Four years from the date the contract was broken. Then the claim is no longer valid. Of course if you pay anything on the debt you have reset the clock even if the 4 years has lapsed. I don't know about other courts but I would guess that you could find out with a simple court search in your area.

I keep getting calls from this # and other random #'s. No message are ever left. I finally just blocked them.

I've had that same problem. They claim I owe "X" amount for a credit card from 10+ years ago (way past statute of limitations in my state). When I told them they have the wrong person they insist they do not. I told them they are giving me a middle initial that I've NEVER had associated with my full name, a PO Box and I've never had one of those, and are claiming I made payments on it for awhile from two banks I've never heard of and which do not have branches anywhere near my state. They don't care. They just keep calling. I just ignore any number I don't recognize but these people are a HUGE pain the the backside.
