No, it's really a number from Amazon. They called me yesterday because I asked them to help me solve a problem with my Kindle.
plain & simple... if you didn't request a call back from Amazon within the 24hrs prior to receiving the call, then the call you are receiving is almost certainly fraudulent. If uncertain, tell the person that you'll call Amazon's 800 # instead, hang up and do so. Amazon will have a record of why they were contacting you if it was actually Amazon who called and can assist you at the 800 number with whatever the supposed reason for the call. Also... seems foolish to even have to say this but... NEVER give anyone claiming to be from Amazon any credit card or banking information over the phone.
This # is Amazon seller support. I had opened a help request because of something being incorrectly put in the Automotive section which then made it a restricted item. This was in response to that open case.

I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
