They called me at 8:50 PM. I get up early to go to work. I am going to contact them next week to voice my anger at being called at that time, not to mention calling me at all!!! They will get a good ol' Arkansas cussin' if they call again!!
I searched number online .. supposed to be CDC if so why are they calling a few times a day and never leaving messages and in addition to that I am getting other numbers that are supposed to be CDC in different states and I did read that some calls are not even coming from inside the US. but they look like they are US numbers... So who's to know if one or all these numbers are spoofed. My health department is close I can ask them.
Doubt it.They say that they are calling on "behalf" of the PA Dept. of Health. Not the same at all.
Got a call Sunday night at about 9 p.m. (very late, if you ask me). The man said he was from the New York State Department of Health. I just hung up.
After at least a dozen annoying (albeit unanswered) calls, I called them back, punched 0, and spoke with someone whom, I hope, has now removed my number from their calling list. She tried to explain that they were trying to conduct a "very important health survey" or some such, but I wasn't having any of it. I feel that if it were really that critical, they would've left a message.
I know that these people were contracted to do a survey, but when asked several times ( during dinner, when I am sleeping...ect.) "please do not call here, I do not want to participate" have respect for the people you are calling. The economy is so bad and there are so many scams, the last thing I am going to do is give out any personal information to a RANDOM company. After several times I had called them back at the # 1-800-727-5016 and left a detailed message that I was going to call NY State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman and Idaho State Attorney General Lawrence G. Wasden and report that I had asked to be removed from their list and my request had not been met SEVERAL times....this is a form of HARASSMENT. I have a elderly mother that is disturbed from her nap every time they call, nevermind me.
