Fraud fraud fraud...called me pretending to be windows to get me to login to my computer and fix some settings for "viruses" total bull. When I asked more detail before doing anything he hung up...
Also in Arizona, same exact scenario. Tried to report to Microsoft but they say my form cannot be submitted. Does anyone know how to properly report this fool?
I work nights. Several different unfamiliar numbers ring my cell phone during the day while I'm trying to sleep. I'm now blocking them. Wife answered one on her phone. Caller pitched a reduced rate for credit cards. I'll block the numbers on her phone, too.
Got a call from this number today. Indian guy with a heavy accent. OMG! I have "many viruses on my windows server computer." I played along acting very concerned and I was told to turn on my computer. I said "they are all on. Which one is infected." He said "the one with the windows on it." I said "they all have windows. Oh please! help me! I want the virus gone!"He hung up. I really feel for the people who fall for this. Probably old people.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
