He said he was from Microsoft Windows, except he had my mothers name but called my cell phone. Same virus scam, except I was having fun with him and he finally yelled "SHUT UP MA'AM, NO MORE! WE ARE DONE!" Then he hung up on me. I tried to call back but recording says it's not a working number.

Just got a call from this number. Caller ID said "Unavailable - 209-631-2059". Though it was unfamiliar to me, I answered. After a few suspicious moments a man with a thick Indian accented asked for me by name. I said "that's me" and he began to tell me that there was some problem with some Microsoft Windows file on my computer. It was already clear it was a scam call, but I responded with the truth, "I don't have Microsoft Windows on any of my computers. I've been a Mac user for years." Then he said "I know you are a Mac user, but—" and I interrupted him and said "And I know you are a scam call so I'm hanging up!" And I did.

Just received a call from this number. Did not answer as it came up as "unavailable." Got the this is not a working number recording when I called back.

I just got the same call - said he's from Microsoft and is seeing my computer is having to reboot constantly and they see many virus's on my computer - after listening to him for a few mins I hung up - immediately he called back - didn't answer - Microsoft says to report this on their site as a scam.

said he was with Microsoft, RED FLAG Microsoft doesn't call about issues with computers.

They said they were calling to fix MY PC and did they rememeber me? And told me my address I said to stop calling me and I am on the do not call list and hung up and blocked their calls after that. I believe this is a SCAM or rip off company I Am in AZ they are in CA according to my phone. No one "fixed my coputer from an Indian from Indian accent.."! Not falling for that. I am not an idiot!

I have received several calls from this number in the past week. It was a women with a middle eastern accent claiming to be from Microsoft technical support. I told her I was on the do not call list and would report her phony intrusion. I have also been getting pop ups on my screen that say "you are not running genuine Microsoft windows" they want you to click on a download to correct the problem on your computer. We have been warned by our local police department that this is a scam. I have reported it to Microsoft, don't know if it does any good or not, but beware.

Got a call this morning, difficult to understand but something about windows and errors, etc... Told him didn't have any problems with my computer... Says don't blame him when computer crashes... Hung up!
