I was suspicious because the person's accent was so thick I could hardly understand her and both this number and the 888 callback number they gave came up as scam numbers on this site, but just to be sure, I logged onto my credit card and there was a fraudulent charge. Just to be safe, I called the number on the back of my card, not the number the caller gave.
This is the only Citi Fraud number you need to call, people on this page that say it is legitimate are working for the same fraudsters. I received a call from them, they are just doing their job trying to prevent identity fraud/theft. I applied for credit with them and they were just verifying that it was really me not just someone using my info. They did not need my ssn. I would recommend returning their call at 1-800-950-5114.

Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.

called told me it he was from verizon. I listened for about 2 minutes and told them I was calling verizon myself and hung up. Never hear from them again
