Get your Credit Report!!! Someone compromised my husbands identity which showed up on the CREDIT REPORT.
Legit number telling me Best Buy Citibank card was compromised. But yes you should be skeptical even if I and others tell you its legit. Numbers can be spoofed, so its possible a bogus caller spoofs this number. If you answer and they tell you, tell them you'll call somebody back on the credit card number. Ditto e-mail warnings, don't reply via links in email, go independently and separately
We got a call to our office from the 210-677-1346 today, but we were on calls and they did not leave a voicemail. When we called back, it says "You've reached Citi, please call 1-800-950-5114" which is the correct number for Citibank. We both have Citi cards so we separately called and were transferred to Fraud. Neither of our accounts had any notes or activity on them which is practically impossible for Fraud departments to not take notes (especially when they give someone a call). TOTALLY SCAM, DON'T LISTEN TO THE OTHER ONES ON HERE, THEY ARE THE SCAMMERS. They probably give you the right call back number to make you feel at ease until the next time around they call you and STEAL your info over the phone. Gah, get jobs you scum. You suck.
Received call from this number claiming to be checking on an application for a Best Buy credit card that "they" believe was fraudulent. Told them I hadn't applied. They then claimed to need some information to verify the fraud; starting with the last 4 digits of my SS#. Told them to get lost.
Was a call from Citi bank, fraudulent transactions.Let it go to voice mail then called the number on the back of my credit card. Confirmed that my account was compromised. Got the cards cancelled and new ones sent out.Best to check with your credit card company for piece of mind.
