Legit CALLBACK from Citibank ID Theft Department. Someone opened up numerous credit cards in my name, Citibank was helping me put a freeze on my Credit Report, etc.
Claim they are calling about some fradulent activity on a double cash card .A man called and said please call i800 825 0393 and have my card number available. This is the 3rd time they have called when i calleded by the first time they stated no one called me
Phishers!!! Never give info or follow instructions from cold callers. Hang up immediately and call directly.
Message from Citi fraud dept. This was a legit call because of new information on my credit account.
This is in fact NOT from citibank, it is phishing. They tell some people they're citi, others that they're sears, others home depot, and me, Best Buy. They have a certain amount of info about you. and ask for your complete social security number when you first call. THIS IS A SCAM. AND ANYONE LIKE "DELL" WHO SAYS oh no, it's totally legit, IS ONE OF THEIR OPERATIVES.
