Soo I work for bofa n we do make calls to our customers but its only to ask how your experience was at your last visit because each branch gets rated on customer treatment, but they should never ask u any other information besides if you are the person there calling for.. I know this is a pain in the butt because I've been getting these calls too, so for sure this is fraud.. I'm not sure if there is anything bofa can do but I will try and find out and let you guys know..
When they call, just answer: Better Business Bureau, may I help you. This works pretty well.
Being called from both 216-545-8326 and 469-201-7025-- FRAUDULENT PRACTICES!!!!! They ask for obviously confidential information-- which NO company would ever ask over the phone. I'm listed on the Do Not Call registry, doesn't matter. I'm reporting them to the FCC and the FBI.
If you are a rep of Bank of America you sure do not sound very business like If I met you in person I sure would not want to do business with you I have done business with Bank of America on the phone and they sure treat me better than this. I have never had them to call me I have always called them.
Got a call from this number shortly after getting a BoA credit card. Was just a customer service rep who went over all of the "features" of the card. Didn't try to sell me anything, just an informative call.
I keep getting calls from FIA Card Svcs and have been for many months. I don't know what they want because they never leave a message and I don't answer calls from unknown callers (if someone wants to talk to me bad enough then they can leave a message). You can call them back and ask what they want and do so anonymously so your number doesn't show up on their end by dialing *67 then wait for the dial tone to come back on (it may give you a flashing dial tone in some areas), then dialing 1-216-545-8326. You'll get a real syrupy kinda recording, thick on the bull$#!+ (it says it's not a sales call but why else would they be calling?). Then it'll tell you to wait and it'll connect you with an agent. Ask them why they keep calling you.
I got a call from the number 216-545-8326. The guy tried to pretend to be from Bank of America, and say stuff about how he appreciates my business and mentioned the recent BankAmericard I opened up with BOA. As soon as he heard some suspicion in my tone he hung up. When I call back, there is no answer, just a phony automated generic business message.Don't give these people any information. They are most likely scammers. How they know that I even opened a credit card recently is scary and I need to make sure all my information is secure.
