they ask for the owner of the house, when told they still ask then hang up!!!!

UNPLUG IT FROM THE INTERNET, THEN RUN YOUR ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM ALSO CHANGE THE PASSWORD TO GET ONTO THE COMPUTER

I got 2 calls today. The first time I answered and got someone with a foreign accent. They claimed they were calling for Microsoft and if I didn't get on my computer and do what they said my computer would crash. I hung up and did not answer the second time. They apparently know I am older. I have received several from other numbers where they give me orders. When I told this one I would not do it she yelled at me and said you had better. Yeah right.

Who is this? The calling started yesterday. When I answer they hang up.Can I block this number?

I received call from this no-- frightened me stating Windows was alerted that there was a problem & my PC would ccrash within one hour --go to my PC & follow instructions--- while I was talking to him on my land line, I called my son who works for Hewlet/PC on my cell phone, & he told me it was a scam & to turn off my PC. & hang up on the jerk. 9/24/12 . I reported it to Syber Fraud Unit.

222.555.7777 Called today about a windows YWRE Infection and instructed me to go to RUN on pc and erase and enter EVENTVWR. I did NOT do it of course but, These guys need to be stopped and when we are in a time in the US where the Government is wanting to REGULATE EVERYTHING INCLUDING OUR INTERNET------ Then WHY Can't LAW ENFORCEMENT STOP THIS BS????!!!!!!THEY ARE CALLING ALL THE TIME!!!!!!Next Time I will Answer the Phone: Attourney Generals Office or 911 Emergency or US Inteligence or Unitied Nations Investigations Office or Investigations Office 15 Precinct or Whatever Works!!!!I advise the same to all who are harassed by these people or any scammers or solicitors who contact you.

I have my home phone automatically forwarded to my "google voice" number. That way, the telemarketers have to leave a voice mail, or not. This idiot, tried to talk to the voice mail, saying "Hello, Hello?" Not sure who they are, but if it was important, I assume they will call back.

Where did this call come from and how did they get my number?

Go this call twice today at 3:39 pm and 2:54pm. Answered and there was no response on the other line. This sometimes happens when their system is dialing more numbers than they have people available to answer. I am guessing I will keeping getting these calls until someone on the other line picks up.When I do get a call, I plan on playing along and wasting as much time as I can with them. When they ask for a credit card, I'll say "yes, sure." Then spend 15 or so minutes pertending I am looking for it. After an hour or so, I am sure they'll get the hint. But if everyone does this, these companies will run out of business since little or no cash is coming in.

Stop!!!THIS NUMBER CALLS MY CELL PHONE AT LEAST FOUR-FIVE TIMES A DAY!!!!!This is a ghost number and I do not want anymore calls from this number to my cell phone!Thank you!!
