Received a call from 228-209-8325 on my work cell phone. Automated system said that they were calling about my credit card account and that everything was okay, they just need to speak with me. THen gave me the option to press 1 to speak with a representative and a 2 be removed from the call list. I pressed one to talk to someone and a man came on the phone and asked me if I pressed one to lower my interest rates. I said yes, but wanted to know what company he was with. He then told me that he was with Account Services. I asked with what company and he asked me if I cleaned my graduated high school. I then proceeded to ask for the address of his compnay and he started reading off the some numbers and the alphabet. As started laughing he then stated that I should have pressed two if I was not interested in the service he offers. I informed him that they called my cell phone and that it was illegal to call cellular phones. He then started saying that I was stupid and needed to clean my ears because I didn't push 2 instead of 1. From there he then played the game that he couldn't hear me and that the call was lost. I responded with that it must be annoying to have someone waste his time like his company does by calling peoples cell phones.I recommend gettig them on the phone and waste their time like they are wasting ours. Keep them on the phone as long as possible giving them fasle information so they cant take others calls and make them feel that they are getting somewhere. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Too many vague phrases and references. Don't know any credit card companies based in Miss. Pressed 2 to be removed from list.

I've gotten the same recording from another number.

Just receive the same call at my work telephone number. Does not specify a company name, and references all types of cards (Visa, MC, AE, etc.) I pressed 2 to be taken off of the list - then it said "press 1 now" - I just hung up.

Pressed 1 to talk to a human. I asked the gentleman why his company called me. He refused to answer my question. I repeated the question over and over, he finally hung-up.I called the number again about an hour later and it was a disconnected number.

yea these people are now calling my cell phone. dont know how they got the number. i dont answer and they dont leave a message. tried to call them back and they say that i called a disconnected number. go figure.

I just got out of class and realized I had a missed call. I have friends all over the US, so I am used to random numbers. However, when I tried to call this number back it said that it was disconnected. I called my father to find out if any of our family friends lived in Mississippi -- apparently not. He told me not to call back and delete it. I googled the number to make sure. He was right. Don't call back. Don't even answer.

didnt answer...tried to call back and got a disconnected #...wtf?
