I just recieved the same call. Did not answer and when I attempted to call back ( cell phones are from everywhere these days) I got the recorded message that the number was disconnected or no longer in service... Grateful that I didnt fall victim to such scandalous business practice.. Thanks for letting me know that I am no alone.
Just received a call from (228) 209-8325. The person on the other end stated that he was with Financial Solutions and said that his company could reduce the interest rate on my Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover cards. He then asked for my credit card account numbers which I did not give. When I asked for a number that I could call him back at, he hung up. The background noise indicated that this was some sort of volume call center since I heard other agents answering "Financial Solutions". SCAM? I sure think so!!!
did not answer this call and when I attempted to call back the number was disconnected or no longer in service. Hopefully you will do some research and put a stop to this scandalous business practice... Thank you
Also, when I tried to call back the number via caller ID, I received a system message that the number was disconnected or not in service.
they called me today at 10:51. I answerd but it was to late. Next step was to google the number. And there it is, 23 pages of reports.

called me at 9:50am and didn't leave message. i never pick up calls where i don't recognize the number. if it's important enough, they'll leave a message so i can call them back.
Yep, they just tried to call me. I didn't answer because it was from an area code I didn't recognize. Same result when I called back--disconnected or not in service.
Received an unwanted call from this number. I AM on the National Do Not Call list. A pre-recorded message offered credit card help making sound like it was from my credit card company. I don't own any credit cards though os I pressed one to speak to a rep. I politely asked for my name to be removed and I was hung up on. I called the number back and got a disconnected message.
Just got called by these guys at work - recorded woman's voice saying this call was about my "current credit card accounts," but not to worry. She said the call was about lowering the rates for my Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards. Very generic, I don't even have a card with each of those companies. Pressed 2 to take me off the list, and they hung up - I'll see how well that works. Caught me off guard, or else I would have pressed 1 to speak to a representative - then when they ask for my credit card or SSN, I'd say 'uhh...8?'
