Call on cell phone on 1/03/17 from 1-262-703-1977. Caller ID says "Kohls Corporation." No message left. I do not have an account with Kohl's. My business with them is on a cash-only basis due to complaints I see online about this type of problem.
It's really Kohls. They ask for the last 4 of your # and i was able to ca that number back and get my payment rescheduled because it was late. No worries on that number :-).
Well I've shopped here. Some of their cloths are good, but I would encourage another place to buy a suit.
it is Kohls. unfortunately if you do not have your account number, they do ask for the last 4 of your SS. It was a missed payment, but from several months ago that we thought it was paid.
I am getting calls from Kohl's department store to my cell several times. She asked the last 4 digits of my social to access my account. This is totally fraud.
Kohls appears to be good at making harassing calls and not honoring the agreement made telephonically by their collections representatives. I charged an amount on a Kohl's Card, a card which they naturally encourage customers to get. I moved overseas and forget to update them, so I did not get my statements. When they called me, my balance was about $200, but they charged about $70 in late fees. I spoke with them and tried to work it out responsibly. We agreed that I would pay the principal balance, but I was not going to pay over $70 in late fees. We spoke on the phone about this being a payment in full satisfaction of the alleged debt. I mailed a check in, which was marked in the memo line "Paid in Full." They cashed it. They later said that it was .78 cent less than the full principal balance, so they kept charging me late fees. Nice game. Rather than fight about that, I tried to accommodate them one more time. We again spoke on the phone about this being a payment in full satisfaction of the alleged debt. I mailed a check for about $30 in late fees, also marked "Paid in Full." They cashed it, but still continued calling, saying the check did not arrive in time so more late fees were charged. I live overseas and so checks take more than a couple days in the mail to get there. Long story short, their collection practices, I think, show their bad faith and lack of ethics. They did not honor about agreements made by phone, but kept calling me, telling me to pay them more in late fees. At their rate of return (late fees), I wish I were them. Nobody I know get that % return on their investment. The original debt of $200, had $70 or so in late fees, and the monthly late fees thereafter were between $20 and $30 per month (on an initial debt of about $200, which was paid off, except for allegedly a underpayment of principal of LESS THAN $1). On a percentage basis, I assume that is better than other legal forms of business. Their business practices have convinced me that, in my opinion, they are not ethical and have a short-sighted approach toward business. They just lost a 12+ year customer.
calls me multiple times a day mornings & evenings... has called 13 days in a row. and i have never answered??? WEIRD... if you don't know the number and they do not ever leave a message do worry your missing an important call... if it was they would leave a voicemail.
