I had 5 lines on my Att account , and this number 2882564782 incoming text showing on all my 5 lines bill but not on the phone , !
I first saw this number on my wife's text log and thought, WTF too. I checked my text history, and it appeared there also. It appears that it may be correlated to my brother sending us group texts (it shows up on my daughter's text history too). He says he uses Whatsapp and may be texting us from there somehow using this number (I have no idea how that works). He keeps asking us to create an account, but we haven't.
These posts about cheating significant others are cracking me up. Take my word for it - I have two phones and I am not cheating on myself. Just started getting "texts" from this number this morning - they do not come through on phone, but are listed online on my account. About 20 so far - 4 at a time some minutes apart, some a few hours apart - all from 288-256-4782 and only to my old flip phone number, not my smart phone number. I'm with AT&T and I am assuming most of you folks are as well.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
