Don't get excited people! Look at the details that u got! Me & my woman had this # show up on our bill only to find out that whenever someone sends out a group text where u are included this # shows up on bill! Guessing it's a default number or sumtin like dat!!! Aloha!

I called AT&T because I have 3 phones that are NOT smart phones, I'm grandfathered in on Family Unlimited Messaging $20 a month I get unlimited text, pictures, videos and calling to and from any mobile phone. when this number shows it texted me and always shows twice, then exactly one hour later I get a $2 data charge. AT&T told me they have never heard of this and I was the first to complain. which obviously I'm not since you did before me. I reported it to the FCC and a lady that supposedly works in the CEO office at AT&T contacted me and told I WILL pay these data charges, because I MUST have used the data. I'm on a data per use for $2 and the thing is I have NEVER received a text from this number... they say it shows me using a data. my log will show this number twice an hour later exactly shows I used data and charged $2 each time on every phone I have which are 3

I think this is a group text number. I happened to be on one for work. There was a steady stream of texts from the 12 people talking to each other. The count of texts matches all the ones I received as part of the group.

so ALL of a sudden they are Charging for a group text? AT&T told me they have never seen this number do NOT know what it is, and I get a data charge exactly one hour after this shows up.. $2 charge. it started on Nov 26, 2015 and I get group text ALL the time.... and it isnt always when I get the group text that his shows up. they told me I was the first to complain and have bno idea what that number is and that I must be using data like a weather report coming in or something

This number keeps showing up on my bill as text messages, but i never received a texted on my cell 288-256-4782. I've complained several times because without an actual text I'm unable to block the number.

Ladies, I had the same concern that you do. We are with AT&T and this number shows up on the call log every time my boyfriend is using a group message. No need to worry.
