Sorry to clarify my first message the bill and the group messages on my end are time stamped the same time.

Same situation here, have the smart limits on daughters phone and this comes up with group message. It is absolutely not porn related.

I somehow sent a message to 3 of my friends and all of a sudden they and more random numbers replied about how they don't know who (my number) I am And that it is a group message. I don't know how this happened. When I checked one of my friends phone log is showed this 288 256 4782. Number instead of mine. It's nothing to do with porn. But Ya never know it may vary. I just want to know how this happened because I don't want to send certain content to certain people.

I have noticed these texts coming through on my boyfriends phone none stop for almost a week. It does come through around the same time that there are group texts. Him and I have both been in group texts the last couple days and it seems like this number keeps showing up on his line but on mine ot doesnt. In the group texts we all have androids except one person has an iphone. The texts from the iPhone show up on my line but not on his it looks like it shows this weird 288 number instead. Not sure why it shows up different on our phones when we are on the same plan? We have at&t as well

Ok, I've gotten empty texts from this number 3 times in the last 2 hours today. When I say empty, I mean that it shows as "untitled" and when I open it, there's nothing there other than the number and time it was sent. In my case, I have a simple Net10 phone that's not a smartphone, and can only get texts with words, not images. I don't see a way to block this number, but if anyone knows how, I'd appreciate it!

On my husbands bill too, cheating!

This is tied to group messaging. Found it on my bill and my husbands. We were receiving a lot of family group messages. Somehow the originator of the group message is coming up with this number.

Hey. it is definitely no one being unfaithful. It's not spam either, for some odd reason on the At&t phone bills 288-256-4782 is coming through with group texts if not all people involved have ATT. If one person in the group has verizon, then all the sudden this number pops up. Its on mine and my husbands and we were both like what is this? So no worries on the cheating part... it's not an app or anything sneaky so if you ask them, they will have zero idea what you are talking about unless you show them the bill lol. TRUST YO MAN!!!!

Did anyone else curious about this number do the Facebook "Most Frequently Used Words" thing? It required downloading the Von Von app? That's the only thing I did differently on November 19th when I started receiving these things.

Have you ever read the access notes on any of your apps. Caller ID, text, message log ect. This is all part of using apps. Did you think people really gave you a cool game of the current temp for free? Data collection is the cost of free apps.
