I get a call from this number and I am on the do not call registry and do not understand how this number gets thru to me. I do not want to receive this call.

Someone should start a petition at www.Change.org and get everyone who has been called to sign on. The organization has had success in the past with large-scale scams.

Multiple calls from this number offering to lower my credit interest rate.This time I waited for an operator, told her that I was on the do not call registry and that she was being reported. She hung up.

If we know for sure that 1-888-707-7117 is their toll free number, why don't we do to them what they do to us? That is, keep calling that number. They probably have to pay for each call, but the calls are free for us.

Got a call from this number this morning claiming to be from "Card Services". When I answered the phone it was a recorded message about reducing debt and said to press 1 to speak with a representative. I pressed 1 and asked who they were and the woman on the phone just kept asking about my debt, I asked her what I needed to do to have my number removed from their database and she hung up on me, rude bi*ch. I called back hoping to speak to someone who would be able to remove my number and got a recording stating to press 1 to have my number removed. They never said what the name of the business was.

This company has been around for a few years. Their policy is to be rude and hang up if you ask to be taken off of their calling list. They are also in violation of the do not call list by using the robot-dialing (recorded message) It has been going on for so long that finally the attorney general’s office of several mid-west states have announce a crackdown on the company. If you have been receiving these calls for a while you may remember it was always a recording saying "Rachel for card services". Since the announcement of a crackdown, they have a new recording. "Ann from card services". The sad part is, our enforcement of the no call list is non-existent. Apparently, they do not have enforcement authority. They only track complaints and make the information available to state attorney’s offices if your individual state wants to take action. I do remember seeing a posting on one of these complaint sites where the poster claimed to be the owner of the company. He stated he does not care about the do not call list and would continue calling and nobody can do anything about it. So far, he is right. It keeps changing the number that shows up on caller ID and he continues to call. I get these calls on my home and cell phone at least 1 a month for 2 years now.

I continue to get calls from this number regarding a credit card. I don't have any credit cards.

I just got a phone call from the same phone number. I also keep getting phone calls from phone number 513-417-0498. Same thing as above: recorded message saying "if you received a letter from CARD SERVICES and want to speak to someone regarding lowering your credit card interest rates, press 1 now." I pressed 1 and spoke to a gentleman. I wanted to go through some questions just to get the name of the company. I eventually said I was at work and needed to call him back and asked what phone number could I call back at. He hung up the phone. I then went to the Govt Do Not Call list and filled out a report about the phone number.

Got a call from this number on 03/26/12. Called back hoping to get my number removed from their database but got to someone's voice mail. The voice mail box was full.

For the poster that stated they blocked the number from their phone, that will work for a little while, but this company keeps change the number that displays on the caller id in order to stay one step ahead of the complaints and attempts to stop their calls.
