I got a call from this number about 40 minutes ago. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number, and I have been getting numerous calls like this. I don't have any debt, and don't know why they would be calling me, but it is very frustrating! Sick of these calls about lowering debt or interest rates.
Same as all of the above - recorded message call from "Card Services." Definitely a scam. Reported to DoNotCall.gov.
I suspect it is probably a wasted effort to give alternate ph. #s because these numbers are blocked initially. It would be stupid for those folks to call numbers without testing them against their list of "do not call" numbers. And as irritating as these folks are, I hardly think they can be stupid and continue to get away with this stuff.
same thing same # 5 minutes ago, full mailbox and ive been on the fcc do not call list. Getting alot of sales/marketing calls lately. Very irritating!
This is a scam. They have multiple numbers they call from. I have yelled at these people and filed an FTC complaint. They will not stop, regardless of my being on the no call list. Do not give them any info they are stealing identities. They claim the Fed lowered interest rates and that credit card debt is secure debt. The only way to this to stop is filing FTC complaints and complaints in your state. I have had to block 10 of these numbers. They keep getting new ones. And tell everyone, especially someone who might believe this.
They just started with me about 3 weeks ago. I can only block up to 5 numbers for a 3 month period with my verizon cell phone. I am so angry & looking up now how to stop this crap. I re registered with the do not call registry, added another number to the blocked list. Now what? How do you file the FTC complaint & how long will they take to do something about it?
