you idiot! the local bank says your son owes nothing because there is no acct in their branch office tied to your son any longer. the debt he racked up with the acct he once had was charged off and sold to someone else. just pay your son's debt or represent him in court because that's where he will end up!

I called this firm today. The one on the website you listed and they are not associated with the James Standley now. They have changed their name. I'm really not sure what to do because I believe this other law office to be a fraud.

This Brian guy has been harassing my son. Threatening to come to our house and kick his a** if he doesn't pay him; threatening to take stuff out of our house (I'd like to see him get past the dog!) We have filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals and contacted our attorney. Again, a US Bank account that had been closed, no previous contact from US Bank regarding this matter, just obnoxious calls and threats from Brian who apparently doesn't have a supervisor because he's the top of the chain in this company.

What strikes me as interesting, is that after scrolling thru all the complaints, e-mails, B.S. from their employees (Those are obvious), all the complaints seem to be centered in Colorado (Most reference something local in their info) Are we the only ones from outside Colorado? They did also try to contact me re: a debt that was paid from a company that's been out of business for 10+ years. I haven't heard from them since I sent them a letter requesting written proof of their claim as I knew I had already paid this debt and had proof of that. haven't heard a word from them since...

i live in mo and i heard from this same Brian guy under the law offices of scott corrothers (sp?). same thing...us bank debt. i don't owe us bank anything. phone numbers they contacted me on were 1-866-267-9647 and told me to call back at 1-866-935-2766. if they keep contacting me i will get my attorney involved and see what happens. this all started up 2 days after being contacted by my mortgage company that a list of names and information had been stolen and sold by one of their employees. my name was on the list. they called my parents house first which would not have been listed on my us bank account, but may have been included in my mortgage info file that was stolen and sold off. i have also had other scammers calling me since the identity theft has started, so i am really not sure that they are legit at all.

I have been getting calls from standley and associates from a guy named damien lott. He wouldn't send me anything via certified mail, and hesitantly emailed me a letter saying i owed us bank $710. The name at the bottom of the letter was brian quintana. I am going to mail a letter to them tomorrow to validate the debt, but are these guys legit?
