Debt Validation or Verification needs to show that the debt is owned by the company pursuing the consumer, it needs to "spell out" accumulated interests and charges, and it needs to have the date and original amount of debt. I can assure you I have not received this verification, and, this "debt" is not an existing debt, it's a scam off an old banking account that was stolen when I was at US Bank...But thanks for your unasked input!

on my credit report it shows up as GTF Services LLC5005 W 81st PlUnit 201Westminster, CO 80031Isn't it only the original creditor that can sue you and get a judgement. Brian orignially said he was an attorney and when pressed, said, " I never said i was an atty, I said I work for one, I'm actually a paralegal". I asked for valadation of the debt to be sent to me and haven't heard from them since. I am going to dispute it on my credit report.

I keep getting calls from the number 1-386-267-1892 from a land line in Daytona beach Florida, i am currently in kentucky, I've been getting calls from them for the past 3 months and everytime i answer they never hang up when i say hello. I call back and they dont pick up. I have saved it to my phonebook as do not answer. Does any know any thing about this number and have more info on it

Brian told me the attorney worked for him! I also requested debt verification and have not received it, again, I do not owe this debt, so I am interested how they got my US Bank information in the first place. Colorado Attorney General's office is another place you should go online, and fill out a complaint form against James Standley, who hires Brian and GTF Services. He is ultimately responsible for the actions of Brian, but I also filed a greivance with the fair credit bureau, the division that gives creditors the license to practice, against Brian himself. My complaints are : Harrassment, threatening phone calls, profane language (the definition of profane is "insulting or demeaning"), and failing to respond to my debt validation request or give me an address when I asked over the phone. All of these things are illegal, per the FCA, and I will file a countersuit if I am taken to court, otherwise, I will sue them on my own accord. Good luck to you.

These people called me tonight from a 720-#...The lady I spoke to was completely rude & unbelievably unprofessional.. They demanded a bank account # or they were serving me at my job. They said they sent me a notice to my old address & did not have to provide me with any proof...Well I gave them my card as a single mother afraid of court cause I am barely making it...But called my bank & will call the courts tomorrow...

They are rude & do have to provide documents of all debt. So before you tell people to pay something thats not theres watch yourself. They are responsible to provide any & all documents before court & if they do not they will not be seeing a judge anytime soon...The law states that they must provide all information regarding the case, & further more the law states that they can not threaten you...If you were smart instead of a smart a_ _ that ran there mouth you would know that this guy Standley Has been bar for 60 days already at the end of 2008 & is on a two year probation for his inappropiate actions with debts....So know what your talking about before you talk sh_ _!

Aaron Barr called my company and told me he was "working on a matter" with one of my employees - he wanted to verify the employees phone number (which I wouldn't do) then he wanted to verify my company information - I kept questioning him as to why he wanted my information and he kept saying he wasn't a bill collector and he wanted to make sure he had the right information for my company. I told him I would contact my employee and if he wanted me to give them information, I would call him back - that wouldn't work for him and he started to get irate with me so I hung up on him!!! Best course of action.

Sounds like you work for this outfit....I do not have to give my information to anyone when they are calling regarding someone else - this bozo was pressing for info - which doesn't have to be given out. So from the posts I'm reading, this is a scare tactic being used to get personal or business information (alot of this information can be accessed on the internet....)
