Listen to spitspat y'all...He has a point. Besides now there is a thing called spoofing where scammers can make the real irs phone number or any other show on your caller id so you think it is real. I say nuke them! Ha!

2012-05-24 10:15a CSTI've gotten calls from Walgreen's refill service before today. I recognize it when I see it, usually. Everyone in our household uses the same phone number to receive our notifications.If this *was Walgreen's refill service, great, but it certainly was not the 'normal' number, so the call was ignored. It left no message, so it certainly wasn't useful this time.

Walgreens. I do not have account set up. Asked to delete but they do not know how to.

To all the "it must be all in your head critics" out there...your comments are really funny. However how do you explain how the hackers knew what medicine people took and then got into systems at hospitals messing up their doses required to keep them alive & actually resulted in their deaths???????? try laughing that off in the faces of those who lost loved ones to this B.S. see what that gets y'all!!!!!

This thread is hilarious! It's Walgreens refill line they call me every month to refill my script and sometimes I answer, sometimes I call back. If it's a scam, it's funny how in 24 hours I can go to my local Walgreens and it's already filled- no wait! All they ask me is for my phone number when I call back. If this is a scam , than they work extra hard to make sure I don't have to wait on my script. Very polite scammers.... Ha ha!

I just called this number back and it really is Walgreens prescription refill service. Therefore those who think it is a scam should verify for themselves before making such unfounded accusations. Such posts do not help anyone!!!!

This is legit...I didn't think it was until i just called them back from a land line (since they have always called my cell). I entered my cell # and d.o.b....they said i was due for a refill for 2 of my rx's...it even says which rx's are due to refill. I was really surprised since i've been getting the calls now for a year or so and always ignored them (esp since it was from Nebraska and i live in Texas!!). When i declined one refill, but accepted the other, they confirmed my Walgreens in Texas! I called MY walgreens and they have my rx ready!!
