This is a real PayPal number. I'm a paypal business user. I've been getting "courtesy" calls according to the message they leave in my voicemail. I've been getting calls twice a week for the last 2 weeks. They're trying to sell me some of their upgraded merchant services. I'd wish they take a clue that I'm not interested when I don't answer and don't call back.

I received the same $1 charge I called Paypal spoke to the right people and found out this is a test charge to confirm your credit card is valid, the charge is supposed to be reversed when card is confirmed as valid.That is the story I received

I didn't get a call, but I found that $185 had been withdrawn from my bank account using a phone with that number, and not the standard paypal fee stuff, I don't think I sold even that much value in merchandise.

I've worked at PayPal in the past in the Omaha office. We definitely weren't inmates, in fact, depending on which position and the sensitivity of the information you're dealing with you have to have and maintain a minimum credit score. This number is in fact a PayPal number. If you disagree just get a number from Paypal.com, they own about 12,000 phone numbers in all.

This number showed up on my phone display...but the caller message gave me a different number all together?.. on my answering mac.... so why would this number come up...when it should have been a different number?
