I'm here not because I received a call from this number, but the number was listed on a bogus charge against my checking account's debit card. In my case, PayPal is not involved at all, it's someone managing to spoof a point-of-sale charge from "PayPal *Livingston CA". I have never been to Livingston, CA, much less made a POS purchase there.

just used paypal to make an online purchase and recieved an call within 20 minutes from this number. did not answer it and they did not leave a message

i had a charge on my credit card: PAYPAL *JOHN KAISER 402-935-7733 CA. for 71.00 anyone know who or what john kaiser is??

Same thing just happened to me. My bank picked up on it and notified me. They noticed 5 paypal charges (4029357733) processed on my ATM cc in late August, all on the same day, adding up to $400. (I do not even have a paypal account.) Two days later another charge for $67. Then several $1.00 charges.Once my bank saw the $1.00 charges they immediately cancelled my cc and called me to tell me what was going on. We went through the charges in question and are now in the process of trying to recup $470 dollars. It's a mess.

unwanted call

Got ripped off by gainzanesville for $85. Was new to ebay. I debated whether or not to bet on this item, and finally did. I lost but later got a second chance to bid. I was in contact with him about how this was possible. His storymade sense so I purchased it. WHAT AN IDIOT I am. He gave me a positive feedback , LOSER. Now my credit card company won't even let me dispute it until the finance charge goes through. All evidence has been removed from ebay and pay pal. I don't have any info other than my credit card statement. This ruined ebay for me. Their loss.

All I have to say is wow some of the people on this site are just rude and not very smart apperhently...... yes it is paypals number and yes there are fake charges being made to people's credit cards. Me and my boyfriend just experienced this today and we dont use our credit card for paypal, just debit, but they do have the credit card info. Three charges of $51 showed up on our credit card listed PAYPAL *FACEBOOKINC 4029357733, with further investigation through our paypal history we saw that we have not bout anything on the dates listed..... once we called they continued to say that his mothers paypal is linked to his credit card and thats where the charges came from, however, this was not true as the same charges on the same dates showed up on her debit card statement....... whether this is a scam or not the point is it is happening and people who have paypal should look over there credit statements to stop this from happening, A call to the listed number and someone will help you get it sorted out though it does take a ot of time, also recommend you call your credit card provider.

I just looked up my visa account and have a number of charges on from this paypal number.

I bought some book from the website AKES ALLAN KARDEC EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, for whom knows who Allan Kardec was and represents as aspiritual man and spiritual guide, will just up sad just I am right now...
