Is there any way that we can stop these scammers from extorting money from unsuspecting people? I got a call from this number a few minutes ago and did not pick up because it was an unknown caller. I Googled the number and learned about all of these people who have gotten scammed by these SOB's. There should be a way to identify these offenders and publicly humiliate them. I for one would be up for having them chained-up and flogged in town square.
Alright, what's the purpose of the Do Not Call list if we're still plagued by unwanted calls from scum like these?!
Got a call from this number today, thank god I purchased a fax/copier/printer, so anytime the phone rings the caller gets a FAX tone!!! hahahahaha!! I love it. Scam calls seem to be getting less and less. Eventually these guys are going to realize that this type of business is not paying, so they will move to other kind of scams. Hopefully I won't be one of their victims.
Got a call from 406-720-2099 from "Credit Services", with a pre-recorded message offering lowered interest rates on credit cards. I pressed '2' to be put on their do not call list (which I have done many, many times in the past). I then reported the number to the FTC Do Not Call Registry (which my number is listed on) and the FCC. It seems this will never stop.
Keep receiving calls from this number and I do not pick up. I am on the do not call but WHY are they still able to call? I want them to STOP!!!!
Get this call about twice a week...and we're on "do not call" list. Have tried several times to have it discontinued by pressing "2" as message directs...no results. Have even tried to get a live operator but no one answers. A real nuisance!! By the number of complaints here, I'd guess there is no real way to stop this.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
