I am getting this phone call several times a day. I don't answer because it's not a number that I recognize. I am on the Do Not Call List, so,I am concerned why this number came thru. I don't know what company this number belongs to, I pulled the number up on Google and was told to go thru this process.

Scam Caller! Credit Services is what appears on the Caller ID!

they keep calling me too. how do i report them?

called me today. let machine pick up. no message left. called em back after looking up being a montana number calling me in kansas - rang once - picked up- then went dead. ive been on the do not call list since aug 2011. filed out a report about this individual. (does no good - no one enforces it). this is now #31 scam caller i have blocked from ever calling me again. 30 numbers blocked with the panasonic cordless phone sold at wallmart - and up to 20 from at&t on my land line. million dollar idea - make a phone with unlimited number of numbers you can block. pretty sure everyone will buy at least one :)

I've gotten calls from them more than a dozen times, I've called and spoken to people asking to have my number removed from their call list and each time they hang up on me.

Do not call again, or I will report to the do not call list violations.

This call was from Credit Services who said they were calling on behalf of my Chase credit card services to lower my interest rate on my card. I was very leery and expressed my concern, but was assured they were legitimate because they would not ask for the security code on my card. After I provided the required information and "met the requirements to be eligable for the rate reduction," I was told that a "financial advisor" would call me back to lower my rates. I became very alarmed and called my credit company and was told this was a service offered that was not afiliated at all with my company. The "financial advisor" called me back. When I said to him, "You are not afiliated with my credit card," he interupted me in a raised voice and said, "why do you say that?" As soon as I said that I contacted my credit card company to verify who had contacted me, he again interupted and said, "You didn't cancel the card did you? Did they issue you a new card?!" When I said no I hadn't canceled yet and why was he upset about it, he replied, "because we told you we would call YOU back. You didn't need to call them." I said I called because I was concerned and he said, "you should have been concerned before you gave us any information. We are already charging your card $900.00!" Now I was very upset and said "Why are you charging me and I didn't authorize any charges." He said it was the fee to lower the interest rate on my card. I said I hadn't agreed to any fee and asked him to stop yelling. He hung up on me. I called my credit card company and had my card closed immediatly.

I don't understand why these annoying calls can't be stopped! I get this same junk constantly. Also...what do these sites do where u put in a complaint about these type of calls? I'd really like to know as it doesn't seem to stop them! They call from different numbers....last chance to lower your credit card interest. Final notice...blah blah. As individuals we can't stop them from calling us as they pay us no mind and keep calling! Are we wasting time writing in complaints??

I received a call from 406-720-2099 and when I answered no one said anything. I hung up and looked up the number. As I see from looking up random hang up calls, I was probably right in the assumption that this number needs to be reported.
