Any charity which does not respect the privacy of a private residential phone line is not a charity with any values. They are annoying and after I had my number put on the "do not call" list of phone solicitation. This annoying endless intrusive solicitation will end soon when I leave Bell for a VOIP socket.
This is a legitimate charity. I have spoken with them and left items to be picked up. They have a labeled truck that picks up.
Yes i saw the driver doing just that in our area - north of Toronto. Our neighbors had big toys and bycicles all in great condition left for pickup. The driver just damped everything inside the track as if it was garbage. Too sad.
i recieved a call from this number and when i started to explain that i am the executive directer of a non profit , the woman hung up on me ...not very conducive to my wanting to give any support to this organisation

I'm in the Greater Vancouver area (BC) and we just got a call from UNKNOWN from this number. I ended up hanging up on them because there was no response to my answering ("hello") the phone. Googling the phone number from our Call Display, I see there is some link between this company and Talize, who have a store in nearby Delta, BC.Too bad, if a human voice had responded to my Hello, they'd have a better chance of getting donations from us (we're decluttering). We are on call lists for Big Brothers & Mental Disabilities (group name might be wrong) who we've donated to before, and they leave messages on our machine. I wonder if Recycling Rewards would've left a voice message if our machine had answered. This Toronto number calls me in Vancouver. I took the call and it's all silent. I hung up. If it's a real charity, it is not doing well. If it's fake, it is a real nuisance.
