You attempt to collect interstate debts with no authority, you do not provide substantial proof of the debt you indicate is due, you do not follow the statute of limitations on collecting debts in each of the states, you are scam artists that make your letter appear as if it is from a law firm, which is against federal and most state laws. You do not explain in detail what it is you do to collect the amount due, just use bad manners...consumers have laws that they can use to stop you dead in your tracts. Everybody who reads this please contact your state's consumer protection, better business, and know your federal rights. I have done collections for sixteen years. I know what you can do to collect debt...and what you cannot do. This company is kinda like a bully who will intimidate people into believing they carry a big stick. They do not. Never let them tell you that this is a legal matter, if they do, get their attorney's name and phone number, you do not need to talk to them further. Call there attorney about 20 times a day because he bills for every minute. In almost every case, check for certain they cannot charge interest. Be smart, use your head and be informed.

Calling every day and I am sick of this when I owe no one. We are elderly plus there is someone here who is in poor health. I take the phone off so this person can rest when needed but then no one can reach me at home if they need to tell us something. What can a person do?????

I have been receiving calls & letters from mb&w also. They claim I am in violation of my contract with the Berry co. I asked for a copy of the contract. They sent me a blank one. I have asked repeatedly for a copy of the signed contract that I am suppose to have signed. I have also told them that I would not talk to them on the phone and that all communications be via the mail. I have sent all my correspondences to them via certified mail with return receipt. They tried to not put a date on the return form but it's stamped on the front by the post office and you can get it on line with number on your receipt. They aren't getting a dime until they prove that I owe what they say.

Um... you need to revisit history yourself. It was a DEMOCRAT-run congress those last years of Bush's presidency. He didn't pass the bad laws, the democrats in congress did. Look it up.

I just laugh since call block means the phone does not ring, and it hangs up on them.If they have something to say, send a letter.

I've been receiving phone calls about a debt i don't even have. They've been calling me on my cell phone and I'm in Canada so every time I was answering it was costing me money.

A Laura Strick called asking for me regarding a collection matter. She left a curt message and a case number that I should reference when returning her call. I have no idea what this lady is talking about.
