I get multiple calls a day from this number and every time I answer the phone nobody on the line responds. If the answering machine picks up they do not leave a message. This is extremely annoying especially as I do not even have a Macy's account.

the number is not indeed macys. It is a scam and has nothing to do with macys

here is a "real" timeline of this phone number coming up on my call list... Sept 9 @10:34 am - Sept 9 @12:47 pm - Sept 9 @7:59 pm - Sept 10 @9:27 pm. Today has been pretty much the same pattern and unlike many people on this blog- I DON'T HAVE ANY ACCOUNTS WITH MACY'S.

This phone number 513-754-9822 calls my cell phone 2-3 times DAILY. I have always ignored it but I finally answered it and then no one would speak. But they still call and is a nuisance plus it costs me minutes.

i get about 6 or 7 calls a day and sometimes about 7 calls in 10 minutes from this number...i answered once and i said hello...about 20 seconds later they said hello and then i hung up...i was going to answer the next time they called but now that i read this i dont think i will...o and i also have never received a voicemail from them either

This number called me starting on August 9, 2009. It started with one call a day, to two, then three, now I get the phonecall almost non-stop through out the days. I am so pissed off! Its a hassle to change my number and HECK I don't even have a Macy's account so WTF?!!! I put number on the DO NOT CALL LIST AND YET I STILL GET THE F***IN' CALLS!! DO NOT CALL THEM BACK FOR ANYTHING!!!

They left a voice mail saying there was an important business matter. THANK GOD I Googled the number first.... it sounded like a bill collector or something. I called the 800# they gave me, 800-947-6229, and it was automated. Identified themselves as Macy's and asked for an account number, I put in "6969", than it asked for the last 4 of SSN. Again, "6969". Than I hung up because I didn't really want to talk to some criminals.HOW CAN WE REPORT THEM??

this number keeps calling, I do not know any one with this number how can it be blocked???

I hear ya! I just made a log of the phone calls that date back to Aug 09!!! With one or two calls a day NOW i get calls almost 6 times daily, some calls are only an hour apart! I don't have a Macy's account either let alone would I tell anyone personal info over the phone ... arrgh
